THE WEST POINT CEMETERY
There are numerous exceptions, so it is necessary to have the individual grave location which can be learned using the terminal at the rear of the Caretaker's cottage. Alas, the door is sometimes locked. For the 220 individuals in this book, refer to the index at the back to determine their grave location.
There are no special criteria for the placement of individual graves, neither by graduation class, conflict participation, nor rank. However, the locations are not entirely random. Those who perished in a given conflict have generally been interred in proximity to each other. This diagram highlights the areas where the predominance of each war's graves may be found.
